Tai Chi Chuan: Needle To Seabottom vs. Fan Through Back vs. Play Guitar

Here we are again experimenting with various combinations of Tai Chi Chuan techniques. This time we start with "needle to seabottom" as a joint lock. This is countered by "fan through back"- an unusual version. You really have to counter the joint lock before it is completely set or you are screwed. In this version, you drive the locked hand/wrist upward while pushing up on opponent's elbow/tricep. The opponent counters by moving off-line and locking the elbow in "play guitar/raise hands" (depending on which side is forward).
Once again, the idea is to flow and keep the continuity of the pattern.

I have sent Richard at Uchi Deshi a request for a public statement and/or e-mail release, I'm sure we will hear back from him soon.

DR,
I'm always amazed to see you in action. (That was sincere). Like instructors that don't teach "what I read in a book", "never tried this one before, but is SHOULD work" or just plain B.S.

Drop me an email sometime. I'll even shoot you my "Business number", I'm cool I have business cards ;-)

But I've learned a truck load of stuff I think you like. Too bad you live so far away, I'd love to take you up on that beer.
