Freestyle Taiji and Bagua with T.Y. Pang

It's a pleasure to see our local Tai Chi Chuan master T.Y. Pang in this demonstration from Amsterdam in 2009.
Mr. Pang doesn't teach much anymore, but I visited him at his house a while back and hope to again soon.
Pang is among the few living students of Tai Chi master Dong Jinye and Bagua master Sun Xikun. Look how supple his body is, he's well into his seventies. His Yang-style Tai Chi Chuan is what I practice, as taught by his long-time students Jack Greene and Joel Chung. Same with the Bagua, Sun Xikun lineage. I spent a year walking the circle every Sunday with Joel.
Mr. Pangs longevity is a testament to the health and physical skill his Taiji and Bagua produce.
Here, he begins with the opening of the Yang form, slides into freestyle mode, and finishes with some Bagua.
Great stuff...

Hi, DR: Love it when you put youtube video's on but you have to know that the version you link to is cutting off the right side.

I believe Youtube has several versions with one that actually fits in the blog space, etc.

Thanks Charles, I've been trying to figure that one out.
Let me see what I can do, If anybody has suggestions as to which format is the right one, please let me know...

You can either use their custom size option to embed a video 410 pixels wide (or less), or you can change your blog layout.

Thanks Chris;
I changed this view to the smallest option they gave and it almost includes the entire picture. I'll try this for a few and see if it is acceptable, and if it still drives us crazy I'll tackle changing the damned layout.

P.S.;
It was never a problem in the past, YouTube changed something in the last half-year that screwed up the view on Blogger. I'm just not that much of a "techie".

DR: I apologize but Youtube changed things and all the options no longer fit the blog format.

In the past you could select a form of "imbed" that allowed for the width of the blog but they now give sizes and the smallest still does not fit.

Maybe they prefer you to send them to the youtube site or something.

Bummer...

Tahnks Charles, I think I am closer to the right size selection in the following videos.
But yes, there needs to be a "fix" for the YouTube/Blogger mismatch.
Hopefully the next video's will be a better fit.

DR,
Putting aside all the youtube stuff, the video itself is wonderful. I particularly relish the effortless, perfect balance in every move he makes.

Excellent, inspiring (especially to a greybeard like me) and fascinating.
